Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how Nsuwa Marketplace uses personal information when you browse the marketplace, create an account, place an order, apply to become a supplier or contact us.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Nsuwa Marketplace, we may process your name, email address, account details, delivery address, phone number, order and basket information, supplier application details, support messages, reviews, saved coffees, followed suppliers and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
Payment card details are handled through Stripe. Nsuwa Marketplace does not need to store your full card number.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to provide and secure accounts, process marketplace orders, share fulfilment details with the relevant supplier, send transactional emails, administer supplier applications and payouts, manage refunds and order issues, prevent misuse, maintain records and improve the marketplace.
4. Our lawful bases
Where UK data-protection law applies, we generally process information because it is necessary to provide the service or perform a contract, because we have a legitimate interest in operating and protecting the marketplace, because we must meet a legal obligation, or because you have given consent where consent is required.
5. Who we share information with
We share only the information needed for the relevant purpose. This can include the supplier fulfilling your order, Stripe for payments and payouts, hosting and infrastructure providers, email-delivery providers and professional or regulatory advisers where necessary.
Suppliers receive the customer and delivery information needed to fulfil their own part of an order. They must use that information only for legitimate order fulfilment, support and legal-record purposes.
6. Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including account administration, order history, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes and legal obligations. Retention periods can differ depending on the type of record.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information, object to certain processing, request portability, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a privacy request, email nsuwacoffee@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should also protect your account credentials and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the marketplace, our providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
10. Contact
Questions about privacy can be sent to nsuwacoffee@gmail.com.
